Do you like green eggs and ham?

Happy St. Patricks Day! Our special little leprechaun came and turned out our milk and eggs green during the night. My question is that why did all of my kids eat this up and ask for more, then why are they appalled and thinking that I snuck in poison if they think they spy something "green" in their dinner.

At preschool yesterday C wrote that if he caught a leprechaun he would get a mustang. What would you ask for? Is it too much to ask for your house to be paid off? Just a small little favor from a little man with lots of gold?

T's funny from yesterday was that we were eating lunch with my sisters and mom at Scholtzchy's, and T was more interested in his lemonade than his pizza. So my mom asked if she could have a piece of his pizza. He said yes and she took one bite. Then without saying a word he took the piece from her hands, licked it, and set it back down on his plate. Way to mark your territory T.

  1. I think its funny your trying not to put your kids name in and then you did anyway! I am with you on the leprecaun paying off my house. I kept thinking the government should've paid off our houses instead of giving the banks money free and clear, can you imagine how much I could pump into the economy if my house was paid off. Too bad obamas not little and green!!

  6. How does the leprechaun make everything green? I think my kids would be to obsessed about the process to eat.

My husband and youngest cavalierly eat off my plate regularly. I am tempted to practice T's method. However, I am afraid it wouldn't work and I would just be grossed out.....

  8. Julie, I was going to try to get away with only doing a St. Patty's dinner, but my kids are so tradition crazy, as they are asking me what green breakfast we're going to have,so I had to do green pancakes and green vanilla syrup. If I caught a leprachan I would want a new car that fit 8 people and was not an ugly tan/gold
