Cruisin....
So we booked a cruise to the Southern Caribbean over a year ago and took off the day after Thanksgiving to start our journey to Puerto Rico. Here is the beach close to our hotel.
We went and checked out two awesome forts built in the 1600's.
We were on Level One. Our room was is third set off portholes from the front.
The big theater on the ship.
New dress I got in Barbados.
Back of the ship.
Leaving San Juan.
Dinner.
In St. Thomas we toured the island with Sonny Listen-the party tour guide.
Tristan found his peeps.
After the tour we stopped at Saphire Beach.
We found a iguana on the beach.
Then we had one sea day, and on Wednesday we stopped in Barbados.
After another tour, we went to get on a glass bottomed boat to swim with the sea turtles.
The turtles swam right underneath us. It was pretty awesome.
In St. Lucia we did the ziplines. It was so much fun!
View from the ship.
Welcome to St. Kitts!
We went to Cockle Shell Beach where their mascot is Wilbur the huge pig!
We rented a kayak and found this beach with no one there.
The water was the perfect temperature and so still and clear.
Last port: St. Maarten
It just doesn't feel like Christmas in 80 degrees!
We stayed at the beach close to the ship for some swimming and relaxing.
We had a great time and sooo appreciate my awesome in-laws for taking the kids. But, there really is no place like home. Even though it isn't 80 degrees everyday!
