Boy or girl?

Well, my last poll you said you liked the name Caprice over Capri 16-4. Tristan doesn't like the name Caprice at all, but really likes Capri. I like them both.

Anyway, I get to find out in one week (next Thursday). Here's your chance to guess what I am having. The other three pregant friends I know who have already found out are all having boys.

You don't have to worry about my emotions, you can vote for what you really think I am having.
Since I've talked so much about this being a girl, I think some of you are worried for me if it's not.

I admit I will be dissapointed. Maybe it will be a lot harder than I think. I know I should be grateful to be having a healthy baby, but doesn't everyone deserve at least one girl?

It will be a lot easier to have a boy, because we are well equipped. Plus, this is most likely my last, so she will have no sisters to play with. But, there is still part of me who wants to look at those little dresses at the store and have some toys without weapons or wheels.

I guess there is always granddaughters!

Anyway, I think this poll will end a day or two before I find out and then I will announce if you are right or not.

P.S. The song that is playing should help with your decision. :)

  1. I do hope that you have a girl! I would be very disappointed if I couldn't have a chance to raise a daughter. I'm crossing my fingers for you!

  2. I'll admit, it is fun to buy girly dresses and toys, but boys are WAY easier to raise!!!!! (no wild emotions and less hormones) I think almost everyone hopes for one or the other with almost every pregnancy, but once they come it just doesn't seem to matter any more you just love them so much! Everyone knows how sure I was that Chase was a girl, and yet he is my most fun baby yet!!!!I just can't imagine a girl in his place! But we'll keep our fingers crossed for you!

  4. Hehe, I think it's funny how we all say that we are keeping our fingers crossed for people when they go to find out what gender that is already formed inside of them. Wishful thinkin' won't make it grow a boy part! ;) I wanted soooo bad for my twins to be boys. Well, for my baby to be a boy I should say. Then when I found out I was having twins, I wished for one of each. I had no say tho of course. I told my husband though, that even though we've been through all of this heartache, I wouldn't trade Veiyah and Aderah for a boy anyday. :) So, of course we all want at least ONE of each, but each time we don't get what we want, we fall just as much in love or more with what we have. :) That being said, I voted for girl, because after 3 boys (right?) I heard that the 4th is usually a girl. haha, love those old wives tales. It would be SO much fun for you, though. I love dressing my girlies. But I do wish I could buy a truck once in a while. haha, maybe I just will. ;) Happy finding out! "Keeping my fingers crossed for you"!!! :) Love, Ani

PS. I love your template! ;)

  5. PS. I voted for Capri. Caprice is an old name. It's always fun to try something new. So, cheering on Capri! :)

  6. I hope you have a healthy baby! I still can't figure out why you would want a girl. Boys are so much easier and then you get 4 daughter in laws that you will be so greatful for that you will love them and they will love you! And the best part is you get girls without raising them! BTW I chose Caprice, they seem so much the same to me, Capri would just be the shortened version. Go with what makes you happy!

  7. I don't know if I dare guess a boy after hearing that song and knowing how bad you want a girl. So i'm guessing a Girl:)

  8. I do like the Bumbo because I can have her sit in it to eat, etc. and it helps support her so she can sit, whereas she is not ready for a high chair yet. She doesn't always love it, but I do sit her in it to cook dinner sometimes and to feed her. I think you should borrow one first, and then if your kid likes it, to get one. It is not a universally loved thing by all kids, so I would test drive one first if possible!

  9. Julie, I totally know how you are feeling. I really wanted a girl with this pregnancy and I'm now to the point where I don't break down into tears when I tell people that I'm having a boy. So that's good. I hope you get your girl. They are so fun. And your right, everyone deserves at least one girl. Good Luck and I can't wait to hear the news. Oh and everyone here that is pregnant is having boys except one lady. So maybe all the girls are supposed to be born into ID. You know Ranay is getting her girl, so that's just awesome if you will get yours too!

  10. Hi Julie! I have to disagree with everyone else, girls are easy. They are sweet and loving, and they don't destroy things. I always wanted a boy, but mostly for my husband's sake. I hope you have a girl, for your sake. Bows and dresses are the best! You do have really cute boys, and I am sure they don't destroy things :).

  11. Julie, I got your blog address from Kristen. I hope you get a girl! We're having our first girl and I'll admit I'm quite nervous! Boys just seem easier. Each time in the store I go look at the girls side, only to find myself drawn to the boy's! Maybe because there are half as many choices! Anyhow, good luck!

  12. I wanted Kaytlin to be a girl so bad that I felt bad for wanting her to be a girls so bad. I even wanted Kamden to be a girl. I know that is odd after having two girls but I just enjoyed my girls so much. Then I had my boy and he is so AWESOME! He is just as awesome as my girls. I have to admit I am grateful I have both. You are such a good mom. Your boys are so lucky to have you. Oh, I voted for Capri. I liked all the names, but Capri was my favorite.

  13. I think it would be highly unfair to Melinda and I if you got a girl.
That being said, I can't guess. I have been wrong every time, so it would be unfair. See all of those boys at my house...I only thought one was a boy. Go figure.
