Hair Goal

I'm trying to grow my hair out. I got a trim yesterday to try to even it up a little for easier growing. I'm going to to try to take a picture every month on the 23rd to show myself that I am making progress. I want it long enough that it can all fit in a pony without falling out. So if you see me wearing a lot of hats when it gets to the awkward stage, you know why. My awesome haircutter and I made a pact that she won't cut it even if I come in desperate.

Question

I have a question for those of you with glass-top electric stove. Have you sucessfully made caramels and candies on it or do you have issues? I have made candied popcorn etc, without any problems but lately and in the past I have had a few issues.

I've tried making homemade marshmallows and they failed before. Today I tried to make carmels and the recipe said it would take 20 minutes on med-low to get to 240. After 20 minutes it was at 200. I waited another 25 minutes and it was still stuck on 210. So, now we have a lovely carmel sauce but not candies.

Getting a gas line installed with a gas stove isn't really an option right now, but I hate it when things don't work. Do you think I'm a candy loser, all electric stoves are losers, or just my electric stove is a loser?

Size Awesome

Saw this commercial this morning and totally loved it! My message to you today is that whether you are a size 2 or 22, you are size awesome. Sure we could all do better, (well I guess I will speak for myself) but you also have to be happy with the size you are because you are size awesome.
