To be a kid again...

Of course as soon as T saw the neighbor girls outside yesterday in their
"wimming suits" we had to get out the sprinkler sit and spin. It provided a few minutes of entertainment for the cul-de-sac until they became icicles.
This week we went into Furniture Row to look at dressers and we came out with two dressers and a cool bunk bed, which Tristan and his dad put together yesterday. I guess I'm living my childhood dream through them, because I always wanted one.
Well, I'm almost thought we might have a baby this week for a few minutes. Thursday was not a good day and I was pretty close to going in. I was just having all sorts of pressure and pain. Under my belly has had the worse pains that I feel all day and all night, But, I decided it wasn't really labor. I did go in to get some nursing bras yesterday (I think the only male reader of this blog is my husband, so I can say that right?!) and I looked at the maternity belt.
I have to say, that this actually works. I wasn't sure if it was worth $18 for 17 more days until my due date. But if definetly is. I slept the best I have in a few weeks because I didn't have to turn over decide which side hurt worse. (The few hours I did get, we were out until 1:00 watching Angels and Demons).
Anyway, if you ever in need come and borrow mine. It works!

  2. That's great that it helps you sleep so well. I will have to look into that for next time. Was Angels & Demons good? I really want to see it!

  3. Those are great bunk beds. Kaitlyn reminds me almost weekly that she wants to share a bunk bed with Marissa.

I hope you can get some good sleep until that baby comes.

  4. Looks like you have been digital scrapbooking! Sorry about the pains....I always hate the little pains towards the end. You are getting close, in fact, I believe I guessed the 24th and that is in 1 week. The bunk beds look fun. And where have I been?? I've had 4 kids and I have never heard of the maternity belt.

  5. I enjoyed Angels and Demons. A little violent. The book was a violent, but it is just different to read about it than it is to watch it. But, overall it was a cool movie.

  6. sorry I couldn't find my maternity belt and save you $18. I'm glad it's helping. It sure is fun trading off babysitting. It was great to get out with my hubby. we have great ones because they go the others house and we get to stay home. Hope you can endure the next few weeks, or days, or hours of your pregnancy.

  7. What digital scrapbooking program do you use? I am really tempted to dump all my cute paper and just do my scrapbooking this way. It looks fabulous and you can't see glue smeared all over. :D

  9. Caroline-I used Photoshop Elements 6.0. I took a class on it at EITC last year. I get most of my embellishments free from scrap girls. They send me an e-mail every day with a free download that I keep in a folder. It is a lot easier and easier to clean up than traditional.

  11. My fondest memories are when we had two bunkbeds in one room. I'm glad you are almost done and the belt is worth it. If you are looking to go into labor you could try a little ward volleyball.
