Eating my way around town: part 4

This wasn't necessarily one of the places I was dying to try, but we tried Lucy's Pizzeria last night. Tristan can sometimes get 1/2 off coupons, so we decided to give it a try. It's the old Pizza Hut building by Fred Meyer. You may have heard the commercial "If it ain't Lucy's-forget about it!"
I give it 2 out of 5 stars. Wasn't that impressed. It was a thin crust-New York syle pizza. It was about $15-17 for an 18 inch. A little more than we like to pay for pizza (probably wasn't even worth the 1/2 off either) The kids didn't love, we didn't love it. We would much rather have Papa Murphy's or Manginis and bake it at home. I guess we like a thicker crust and more toppings.
On the upside, our server was really nice. Probably wouldn't go back though. Don't let me discourage you if you love that kind of pizza. Maybe you would like it. Or maybe not :)

  1. Tyler has wanted to try Lucy's. I'm glad we haven't gone. I am really cheap when it comes to pizza. I like good old Sam's Club pizza!

  2. It's really sad when you try a new place and it turns out to not be good. :( Papa Murphy's is our favorite place to get pizza.
